During the Catan project, I got stuck in a blender error that crushed my renders if they were big enough. I tried every solution in my sleeve to fix that (to lower the number of polygons, delete unnecessary objects, etc...), but the problem kept showing up.
until this night
I found out that the problem was with the Optix denoiser in Blender, which - for some reason - crushed my renders if they were highly detailed.
The solution?
I disabled the Optix denoiser and enabled denoising manually in the Composition work area in Blender. It worked like a charm!
now I can render in 8-SUPER-MEGA-AWESOME-K
bring it on 😎
8-SUPER-MEGA-AWESOME-K
First thought: I don't think that's how it's called, but I get the enthusiasm 😄
Second thought: wait... 8K???? 😱 OMG!
